Hello everybody.. Days have just been flying and i find myself staring at another weekend.. hurray!! Not that other days r not a weekend to me.. ;-)
N today was a terrific day cos i got to eat mango mousse as much as i wanted at a lunch buffet.. We went to this tight little place called "Indian wok" which indeed is a favourite place of ours. And wasn't i happy.. to c that the desert had my favourite item on it..
I am crazy abt mangoes.. I can have it for breakfast, dinner, lunch with tea, with bread, rice,
noodles whatever!!
noodles whatever!!Pity this march i miss them soo much.. Its mango season now..Though we do get mangoes here, not the enormous variety from which u get to choose, back in sweet old India.. boo boo
N my naughty little sister is making me J describing how she had all my moms masterpiece mango delicacies.. Juicy ripe mangoes.. see wat power they got.. can even come between sisters ;-) Aint they dressed to kill.. slurp slurp!!

Um yum, mango. I too love to eat mango and would enjoy mango at every meal but I've never tried mango mousse. I think I shall, soon. Thanks for the idea.

MAn..Mangoes love them so much....I just saw them at a fruit shop tday...they will be verywhere soonn..all rehris in streets...shops..road corners...

I am also mango crazy, Diya and recently I discovered the Altuafo (sp?) mangoes from Mexico...while they cannot compare to the Alphonso mangoes from back home, they are probably the best mangoes I have eaten this side of the world. The next time you see some in the food market, buy a couple and tell me what you think.
well well...they are going to have a mango fair soon in DC and then you will start to see indian mangoes in shops (were banned until recently). We found a box of kilichundan filipino mangoes the other day, at artesia - was just so so...nothing like the variety mohanlal sings about.or the malgova.

the ban on mangoes was lifted by His majesty G Bush when he went to India last year. but the hurdles were cleared only this month from what i heard...
